Through close reading and class discussion, students will (1) identify argumentative structures, evaluate how evidence and sources are used, and examine underlying theoretical assumptions; and (2) apply these insights to their own academic report writing.
By reading various sociological case study texts, you can acquire a sociological perspective. Additionally, this can help students master academic skills such as resume writing and presentations.

課題文献を読み分からない箇所およびその理由をできる限り言語化すること（各回約2時間）。また報告担当者は、要約レジュメを作成する。人数分、プリントアウトしてくること。授業後には指示する課題を行うこと（各回約2時間）。

このコースでは、文献読解および議論によって、①論証構造、素材の用い方および背景にある理論的前提を理解する、②その知識を自身のレポート執筆に活かすことを目指します。
