This course aims to explore social issues and examine their underlying contexts from a gender and sexuality perspective.
Common beliefs about gender and sexuality can affect individuals and society in various ways, often contributing to the exclusion of certain social groups and giving rise to significant societal challenges. This course aims to deepen our understanding of how these dynamics are evolving in contemporary society.
Through reading and discussion of literature that addresses gender disparities and inequalities, students will learn to formulate research questions and critically examine society through the lens of gender and sexuality.

ジェンダー／セクシュアリティの視点から現代社会の課題をとらえ、その背景を分析、考察する力を身につける。
This course aims to explore social issues and examine their underlying contexts from a gender and sexuality perspective.
性に関する固定観念や規範は、個人の経験や社会のしくみに様々な仕方で影響を与え、ときに特定の社会集団を排除したり、深刻な社会問題を生じさせたりしている。この授業では、性に関する固定観念や規範がどのように格差や差別を生み出しているのかについて、考察を深める。
授業では、現代社会の課題をジェンダー／セクシュアリティの視点から取り上げている文献を講読する。文献の内容に関する議論を通して、社会に対する関心や問題意識を深めながら、ジェンダー／セクシュアリティの視点から問いを設定する方法、社会を分析する方法を学ぶ。
