Through this course, students will develop the ability to critically examine the current situations of Japanese society within a global context and consider how equality and justice are being pursued—or could be realized—in various social and policy frameworks.
This course focuses on the increasing movement of people driven by globalization and examines migration and host societies through the lens of equality and justice, using both domestic and international case studies.
In particular, the course explores issues related to the feminization of migrant labor, education for foreign children, and refugee concerns, analyzing the structural inequalities underlying these issues and the challenges of achieving justice.

グローバルな文脈から日本社会の現状を捉え、平等や公正がどのように確保されようとしているのか、確保されうるのかを考察する力を養うことを目標とする。
Through this course, students will develop the ability to critically examine the current situations of Japanese society within a global context and consider how equality and justice are being pursued—or could be realized—in various social and policy frameworks.
本科目では、グローバリゼーションの進展に伴う人の移動の増大に焦点を当て、「平等と公正」の視点から移動や受け入れ社会の在り方について、国内外の事例を用いて検討する。
特に、移民労働者の女性化に伴う問題、外国人の子どもに対する教育、難民問題を事例として取り上げ、構造的不平等との公正のための課題を検討する。
