In this class, students will learn about concepts of organizations such as NPOs to deepen their understanding about theory and reality. They will also analyze conditions and future trends of society in this context.
In addition to administration, NPOs and NGOs are playing greater roles at solving problems in family, state, and society. Although many NPOs are small, they are flexible enough to facilitate citizens’ regional revitalization, create new values in market and workstyle. However, many are plagued by communication and sustainability issues.
In this lecture, students will focus on connections among administrations, NPOs, and corporations. Students will also study these questions. What are required for administration and NPOs to work together? What are profits for NPO sector? What are growth and results for NPO sector? How will NPO compete with existing business markets?
In addition to participating in subject discussions in classroom and completing assignments, students will also talk to guests working in welfare sector and organizations active overseas.

この授業では、NPONGOと行政や企業との関りから市民社会の担い手や制度など概念を学び、理論と実際について理解を深めること、さらに，その背景にある社会の課題と将来像を考察し自らのキャリを考えることを目的とします。
In this class, students will learn about concepts of organizations such as NPOs to deepen their understanding about theory and reality. They will also analyze conditions and future trends of society in this context.
家族、地域、社会に生じる多様な課題の解決にむけて、非営利組織（ＮＰＯ）やNGOの役割が高まってきました。ＮＰＯ等は、小規模な団体が多いものの、その柔軟性をもち、市民の主体的な地域づくりを促進する点、市場や働き方に新たな価値観を提案する点が特徴としてあげられます。しかしながら、多くが発信力や持続性に問題を抱えています。
そこで、本講は、行政、ＮＰＯ、企業との関係に着目し、「行政とＮＰＯが協働するためには何が必要か」、「社会起業家にとって利益とは何か」、「NPONGOの成長や成果は何か」、「持続可能な社会に市民社会はどう寄与するのか」、「市場の成長と地域の持続可能性は両立するのか」といった問いにむきあいます。
具体的なテーマについて課題等を課すほか、NPONGOの代表などゲストとの対話を予定しています。
