80 years after WWⅡ, our society has become increasingly confused. In this course, students will gain an understanding of sociology for living in difficult times, as well as historical perspective for resolving a difficult society to live in.
Sociology emerged as a dicipline for understanding and solving social problems. In this seminar, students are expected to read sociological literature, prepar resumes, report and discuss. In the first half of the seminar, students use sociological methods of research and analysis to consider the society that surrounds us today.In the second half of the seminar, students will consider the society surrounding us in the 80 years after the war, referring to historical literature.

戦後80年、社会はますますやっかいになっている。この授業では、やっかいな時代を生きるための社会学（視点、調査手法、分析手法）に接するとともに、やっかいな社会を解きほぐすための歴史的視点を獲得する。
80 years after WWⅡ, our society has become increasingly confused. In this course, students will gain an understanding of sociology for living in difficult times, as well as historical perspective for resolving a difficult society to live in.
社会学は社会問題を理解し、解決する学問として生まれてきました。この専門演習１は社会学に関する文献を「読む」ゼミです。ゼミでは、テキストを読み、レジュメを作成し、報告し、議論をすることが求められます。前半では、社会学の醍醐味である調査と分析という手法を用いて、いま、私たちの取り巻く社会を考えていきます。後半では、ちょうど戦後80年にあたる私たちをとりまく社会について、歴史を参照しながら、考えていきます。
