The course objectives are to learn skills in sociological research methods by exploring research in the sociology of religion.
The learning objectives for students are as follows:
①Students will understand the (religious) sociological perspective.
②Students will be able to view social phenomena from a (religious) sociological perspective.
③Students will be able to conduct their own research using these perspectives.
Students won't be studying the sociology of religion as an end in itself, but using it as a vehicle for learning sociological research methods.
In this exercise, Students will do the following four things.
①Students will learn about sociological research methods from the research findings of the sociology of religion.
②Students will learn to write a summary, as well as process and method to create presentation.
③Students will learn how to find relevant sociological research papers based on their own interests.
④Students will make presentations on subjects they are interested in.

本演習の目的は、宗教社会学の研究成果を学ぶことを通して、社会学的研究の方法を身に着けることです。
その際、本演習の到達目標は、以下の３点と考えています。
①（宗教）社会学的な視点を理解する。
②（宗教）社会学的な視点で社会現象をみられるようにする。
③上記の視点を応用して、自分の興味関心に役立たせる。
みなさんは、宗教社会学を学ぶのではなく、宗教社会学を通して社会学的研究方法を学びます。
