①Develop fundamental sociological research skills through resume preparation, reviews of previous
studies, and discussions.
②Foster the ability to critically and multifacetedly read academic literature, deepening
understanding of research contexts and significance.
③Learn the basic knowledge and perspectives of social gerontology through specialized
literature, and acquire the ability to apply them to real-world issues.
As population aging progresses, maintaining physical and mental health while staying connected to society has become a challenge not only for individuals but for society as a whole. In light of this, this seminar aims to deepen understanding of social gerontology by engaging in group readings and discussions of relevant literature in the field. Through these activities, participants will gain insights into research trends on interpersonal relationships and social participation in later life.

②文献を批判的かつ多角的に読む力を養い、研究の背景や意義を深く理解する。
③専門的な文献をもとに、老年社会学の基礎的な知識や考え方を学び、それを実社会の課題に応用する視点を身に
つける。

人口高齢化が進展する中で、高齢者が社会とのつながりを保ちつつ、身体的・精神的健康を維持することは、個人の問題を超えて社会全体の課題となっています。このような背景を踏まえ、本演習では老年社会学（社会老年学）分野の関連文献を輪読し、それに基づく議論を通じて、高齢期における人間関係や社会参加に関する研究の動向を把握し、老年社会学（社会老年学）への理解を深めることを目的とする。
