1980年代以降続いていたグローバリゼーションが終わりを迎えた今、我々はどのような時代に直面しつつあるのでしょうか。このゼミでは、その問いの答えを一緒に探していきます。

「文化」の側面を視座の中心に据えますが、技術・制度・資源など、社会学に関係のあるものは幅広く扱う予定です。合宿とフィールド実習では、日本の中で消えつつある地域文化と、生産・消費が激しくなっている観光文化の双方について現場で触れ、「日本文化とは何か」を一緒に考えます。こうした例を通じて、ポスト・グローバリゼーション社会のかたちについて、皆で一緒に探っていきます。
