Students will learn methods of anthropological understanding.
Students will gain perspectives for understanding multicultural societies.
Students will explore the possibilities of a society that accepts diversity.
In this course, students will learn anthropological approaches to understanding different cultures and exploring multicultural societies. The first half of the course will introduce various cases of religious practices from around the world and concepts for understanding these practices while examining similarities and differences among ways of life. The second half of the course will consider ways of living together with others through interactions among people from diverse backgrounds. The course schedule is subject to change depending on the number of students and their interests.

本授業では、多文化社会について考えるために、人類学的な異文化理解の方法を学ぶ。授業前半では、世界各地の多様な宗教実践の事例や、宗教実践を理解するための概念を紹介しながら、異なる生き方の間の類似性と差異を探る。授業後半では、異なる人々が交差する場面を通じて、他者と共に生きるあり方を考察する。なお、授業スケジュールは、受講生の人数や関心などに応じて変更される可能性がある。
