The purpose of this class is to write a graduation thesis. Thus, students aim to find their own questions by collecting prior studies and references and critically examining them. Based on this, students are then required to plan and carry out specific surveys.
In order to accurately capture the meanings of prevailing mode, we have not only to put questions by ourselves, but seek similar mode in the past and refer to the underlying dynamics while paying attention to the subtle difference between the two modes. This class will first offer some perspectives in terms of informatization and globalization to reconsider the modes related to the subjects chosen by students from ‘70s, 80’s and 90’s .After that, students are expected to work on their subjects and make presentations.

卒業論文執筆のために、先行研究・参考文献を集め、批判的に検討するなかで、自分の問いを見つけ出すことを目指す。そのためにまず具体的な調査等を計画し、実行する。
The purpose of this class is to write a graduation thesis. Thus, students aim to find their own questions by collecting prior studies and references and critically examining them. Based on this, students are then required to plan and carry out specific surveys.
現代の流行の意味を的確にとらえるためには、先行研究から自分の問いを見出すことに加え、それに先行する類似した過去の流行を見つけ、両者の微妙な差異に注意しながら、根本にある大きな歴史の流れに触れなくてはなりません。本講義の前半では、みなさんが選んだ研究テーマに関わりのある70年代、80年代の流行、90年代の流行について、情報化とグローバル化いう歴史の流れから再考する視点を提供し、四回にわたって討論します。本講義の後半では、そこで学んだことを基礎に、各自、テーマの追求、発表をしていただきます。
