This course will teach basic concepts and analytical methods for interpreting materials and data related to social surveys. Students will learn various qualitative data collection and analysis methods, and be able to put qualitative research into practice and compile research findings.
This course introduces key methods in qualitative social research, including participant observation, interview research, and life history analysis, and examines the fundamental approaches and perspectives underlying qualitative inquiry. In addition, through planning and conducting their own research projects and analyzing and presenting the results, students will deepen their understanding of qualitative research methodology.

社会調査にかかわる資料とデータを読み解くための、基本的な考え方と分析法を学ぶ。さまざまな質的データの収集や分析方法を学習し、質的研究を実践し研究成果をまとめることができるようにする。
