Students will learn the fundamentals of sociological thinking and writing in media studies, as well as participate in seminar-style discussions.
I have prepared three themes for this year:
1. The use of media, both old and new, and information behavior
2. Building social relationships on social media platforms
3. Replay technology and its impact on sports officiating
Students will learn skills for further advanced academic pursuits. The class will be centered on group work.

学術論文の読み方を学びながら、メディア社会学の発想や方法に馴染んでいくことを目標とする。
Students will learn the fundamentals of sociological thinking and writing in media studies, as well as participate in seminar-style discussions.
本年度の演習には三つのテーマを用意している。
（1）新旧メディアと情報行動（2〜7週目）
（2）SNSを通じた人間関係の構築（8〜11週目）
（3）リプレイがスポーツ競技の判定に与える影響（12〜14週目）
文献を読む能力を高めるとともに、レジュメの書き方、発表の仕方、討論の方法等、3 年次以降の研究のために必要な基礎能力をゼミ形式の演習を通じて身につける。演習の形式はグループワークを中心とする。
