Students will pay attention to journalism activity, media trend, conditions of sender and recipient. At the same time, students will observe their historical processes. Through this historical understanding, students will improve their literacy.
Professor will preserve and lecture in modern historical timeline styles while narrowing down subjects and lecturing on individual history. It is said that history is a dialogue between the present and the past. In this class, students will continue seeking historical significances of our era by questioning common knowledge. Through these, students will be able to explore the frontier of media history.

ジャーナリズム活動、メディアの動向を、その送り手と受け手の状況に留意しながら、その歴史過程を見ていくことで、歴史理解、ひいては、受講生のリテラシー獲得に資したい。
Students will pay attention to journalism activity, media trend, conditions of sender and recipient. At the same time, students will observe their historical processes. Through this historical understanding, students will improve their literacy.
近現代の通史のスタイルを保ちながら、焦点を絞って個別史でも講義を行う。「歴史とは現代との対話」ともされる。本授業では、通説を問うこと、私たちの生きている同時代史的意味を問い続けることで、メディア史の最前線を探索したい。
