【Course Objectives】

This course aims to provide students with a foundation in globalization studies. Students will learn to view the world as a whole and develop problem statements about contemporary issues in global societies from a sociological perspective.

【Course Contents】

A series of multidimensional changes has profoundly influenced our modes of existence and our understanding of social realities. This course examines various sub-themes to explore the economic, cultural, and political processes that have led to the globalization of social life. Themes include world economies, nation-building, transnational culture and religion, civil society, technological development, and mobility.
