By the end of the course, students will conduct a thorough sociological exploration of media arts, emphasizing emerging technologies, with a focused examination of cinematic arts and its societal impacts. They will critically analyze the interplay between aesthetics, production, consumption, and societal influences within the realm of media arts. The final sessions will involve a hands-on media project workshop and presentations, providing students with the opportunity to showcase their understanding of media arts and emerging technologies.
The course offers an in-depth exploration of the sociological dimensions of media arts and emerging technologies. Students will critically examine the relationship between aesthetics, production processes, consumption patterns, and technological advances, shaping the digital landscape.
