Students will analyze community issues in Europe, US, and Japan, as well as problem resolution process involving governmental sector, market sector, citizen sector, and other parties. Students will think these process through governance perspective, while analyzing its mechanisms and roles of Publicness .
Students will analyze current state of city building and revitalization by referring to relationships between city and partnership policies, activity of citizen sector, and collaboration with government. Students will be able to solve issues by comparing specific global case studies of social enterprise, NPO, and NGO working in shadow of public spotlight.

欧米やアジアの諸都市で発生しているコミュニティの問題に対して，政府や市場，市民など多様な主体が協力しながら問題解決に取り組む過程を，ガバナンス(協治)という視点から捉え，公共性が再編されるメカニズムや役割分担を考察する。
Students will analyze community issues in Europe, US, and Japan, as well as problem resolution process involving governmental sector, market sector, citizen sector, and other parties. まちづくりや都市再生を促すガバナンスの実態を，都市政策やパートナーシップ政策との関わりや市民セクターの活動実態，行政との協働などから分析する。とりわけ草の根レベルで活動を担う市民活動団体（NPO／ NGO），社会的企業の具体的なケース・スタディの国際比較から，問題解決能力を身につけることを目指す。
