This course is a practical examination of social issues that often tend to be discussed abstractly and objectively.
In this course, students will gain an understanding of the concept of environmental sociology in Japan. It also introduces a wide range of interdisciplinary environmental topics with concrete examples.

「生ける環境」が抽象的・客観的なものとして理解されがちな現在を問い返しながら、環境の社会的な理解について社会学の見地から理解する。
This course is a practical examination of social issues that often tend to be discussed abstractly and objectively.
日本における環境社会学の考え方を理解する。また、近接諸分野の動向にも留意しながら、環境社会学の幅広いテーマを具体的な事例に即して紹介する。なお、授業では映像を多用し、現場を理論にあてはめるのではなく、現場から理論をたちあげる方法を重視する。
