In our country, which is facing rapid changes in social structure such as declining birthrates, aging populations, and population decline, various challenges are becoming apparent in communities across both urban and rural areas. This lecture aims to provide an understanding of the social structures and relationships underlying these issues within local communities, develop a multifaceted perspective for analyzing these challenges, and focus on the individuals and organizations working to address these community problems to gain insights into their efforts.
The course will primarily be conducted in a lecture format. To shed light on the realities and conditions of local communities, videos and materials will be utilized, along with special lectures by guest speakers actively engaged in community activities. Group discussions and group work will also be incorporated into the class as needed.

少子化や高齢化，人口減少など急速な社会構造の変化を迎えているわが国では，都市や農村といった特定の地域に限らず，各コミュニティにおいてさまざまな課題が顕在化している.本講義では，地域コミュニティにおける問題の背景にある社会構造や社会関係を知り，問題を多角的に捉える視野を身につけ，さらに地域コミュニティの課題を解決するために活動する人びとや組織に着目し，その取組みについて理解することを目的とする.

基本的に講義形式で実施する.また地域コミュニティの実態や実情を明らかにするために，映像や資料等を利用するとともに，地域コミュニティで活躍するゲストスピーカーによる特別講演を実施する.必要に応じて授業内でグループディスカッションやグループワークを実施する.
