Acquire foundational knowledge of religious phenomena in Korean society.
Explain specific religious phenomena in relation to the characteristics of contemporary Korean society.
This course examines Korean society from the perspective of religion. Drawing on the historical development of the Korean Peninsula, where traditions such as shamanism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Christianity have taken root and evolved, the course explores how religion influences the lives and values of people in contemporary Korea and the roles it plays in society.

韓国社会の宗教現象に関する基本的な知識を学ぶ。また現代の韓国社会の特徴と具体的な宗教現象を関連させて説明できるようになる。

本科目では、宗教の観点から韓国社会を読み解く。巫俗や仏教、儒教、キリスト教などが受容されてきた朝鮮半島の歴史を踏まえつつ、現代において宗教が韓国の人々の生活や意識などにどのような影響を与え、いかなる機能・役割を果たしているのかについて理解を深める。
This course examines Korean society from the perspective of religion.
