Acquire fundamental perspectives in cultural anthropology.
Learn about examples from various parts of the world to understand the diversity of life and develop the ability to imagine alternative ways of living.
There are many ways of life in the world. This course introduces case studies from around the world and anthropology's basic ideas and concepts. This course aims to help students relativize the concepts and thoughts about society and culture. The class schedule is subject to change based on the interests and preferences of the students.

世界には多様な生き方がある。この授業では、文化人類学の研究史を概観してから、各回のテーマに沿った講義を行う。世界各地の様々な事例に触れ、人類学の基本的な考えと概念を学び、自身が当たり前だと感じている社会や文化についての概念や思考を相対化する。なお、授業スケジュールは、受講生の関心などに応じて変更される可能性がある。
