This course aims to study and deepen understanding of the fundamental concepts and research/analysis methods associated with qualitative research.
Specifically, this course will cover a wide range of research examples in fields such as healthcare, welfare, and labor within sociology, analytically examining the characteristics of these studies and the methodologies they employ. Through these activities, students will not only learn about the diverse qualitative research methods but also aim to critically analyze qualitative research itself.

本授業は、質的研究が備える基礎的な考え方や調査／分析手法について学び、理解を深めることを目的とする。
This course aims to study and deepen understanding of the fundamental concepts and research/analysis methods associated with qualitative research.
具体的には、医療、福祉、労働など社会学の諸領域における研究事例を広くとりあげ、それら研究の特徴や、利用されている方法論を分析的に検討していく。こうした作業を通じて、質的調査法の多種多様な調査法を学ぶだけでなく、質的研究それ自体について分析的に考えることを目指す。
