An introductory course to acquire the basics of comprehensive Russian language skills. It aims to enable beginning learners of the Russian language to understand its characteristics and to use the four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) at a basic level.
The class instructor is a native speaker of Russian, and the class meets once per week. Students will practice to master expressions and proper pronunciation required for everyday conversation and learn basic points to form communication skills in Russian. The course provides students with the opportunity to develop the Russian grammar knowledge into practical skills through speaking, listening and writing.

Canvas授業支援システムにアクセス出来る情報機器（PC又はスマホ）。
宿題提出や単語学習などはオンラインで行う予定。そのためにQuizletなどのオンライン学習アプリケーションを使う予定（授業時に紹介）。
本科目を自動登録で履修する学生は、原則として、言語Bの必修科目（週2回）と合わせて、週に3回ロシア語の授業を履修します。科目コード登録で履修する学生は、この点をふまえた上で登録すること。
ロシア語の総合的な運用能力の基礎を身につけるクラス。ロシア語に初めて接する人が、その特徴を理解し、「読む・書く・聞く・話す」の４技能を基礎的なレベルで運用できることを目指す。

週１回のロシア語ネイティブ教員による授業。ロシア語によるコミュニケーション力の基礎を固めるため，日常会話に必要な表現，正しい発音を身につける練習を積極的に行う。ロシア語の文法知識を口頭表現、聴解、作文などの練習をとおして実践的な能力として定着させる。
