This course will focus on cultural and social issues as well as actual problems in the German-speaking countries. Students will be able to develop a comprehensive understanding of the German-speaking cultural area from different perspectives. Level B1/B2, or DDJ 2.
In each lesson we watch a video on the respective topic chosen by the course participants from "Video-Thema" of "Deutsche Welle", clarify the vocabulary, do small exercises, read authentic texts (newspaper articles, news, short essays, etc.) on the topic and discuss afterwards. In the middle and at the end of the semester, participants are asked to give presentations on the topics they were particulary interested in during class to practise presenting and arguing problems in German.

ドイツ語技能検定試験2級、ヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠（CEFR）が定めるB1/B2レベルのドイツ語能力を有していることを前提に授業を実施する。
授業は、参加者の積極的な参加、議論を中心に行う。映像資料を使用する。
授業内で行われたアウトプットに対しては授業の場でコメントする。
提出物などのフィードバックは適宜全体と、必要に応じて各自に向けて行う。
「授業計画」の内容や進度は、履修状況や履修者の希望などによって変更する可能性があります。
扱うテーマに関して初回の授業で話し合うので、履修を考えている人、この授業に興味のある人は必ず初回の授業に出席してください。
受講にはCEFR B1/B2、ドイツ語技能検定試験2級以上を取得しているレベルが必要。なお、この科目は、当該言語の非母語話者を対象としている。
In diesem Kurs werden kulturelle und gesellschaftliche Themen sowie aktuelle Probleme in den deutschsprachigen Ländern behandelt. Die Studierenden können ein umfassendes Verständnis des deutschsprachigen Kulturraums aus verschiedenen Perspektiven entwickeln. Niveau B1/B2, oder DDJ 2.

Im Unterricht werden jedesmal ein Video zum jeweiligen Thema gesehen, das die KursteilnehmerInnen aus der Rubrik „Video-Thema“ der „Deutschen Welle“ ausgesucht haben, Vokabular geklärt, kleine Übungen gemacht, gegebenenfalls authentische Texte (Zeitungsartikel, Nachrichten, kurze Essays usw.) zum Thema gelesen und anschließend diskutiert. In der Mitte und am Ende des Semesters werden Referate über die Themen gehalten, für den sie sich während des Unterrichts interessierten, um zu üben, wie man auf Deutsch Probleme darstellt und argumentiert.
