To learn by experiencing the various life styles, cultures as well as social issues on site abroad.
To enhance communication capacity by engaging in cultural exchange, dialogue, collaborative work abroad.
Under the theme of social development and international cooperation, this course will provide learning opportunities in Bangladesh. Throughout the experiences gained from the overseas field study, students will acquire ability to construct research questions and to solve various problems. Literature survey before departure to the field is important, while exploring the new ideas in the field by unlearning what is learned by the literatures are equally important. Students are encouraged to construct their own and unique research questions and actively engage in learning.
Student selection will occur in the spring semester. Preparatory training, overseas field study and follow-up training will be carried out in the summer semester break. Please check the schedule in detail at the orientation meeting, or in the information on the field study courses posted on the College of Intercultural Communication's bulletin board.

海外のフィールドにおいて、異なる生活や文化、その国や地域が抱える社会課題などを体験を通じて学ぶ。訪問先の人々との交流、対話、協働を通し、異文化社会における自己のコミュニケーション能力の涵養をはかる。

本年度のフィールドはバングラデシュで、テーマは国際協力・貧困・多文化共生である。フィールドスタディを通して、自ら問いを立て、課題解決への道筋を探る能力を身につける。事前学習において文献調査を行うことの大切さを学ぶとともに、事前学習の枠組みで現地を学ぶのではなく、これまで気が付かなかったことに気が付くという新しい発見を大切にし、それらをきっかけとして、独自の問いをたてて調べることの面白さを知る。
本科目の履修者の選考は春学期に行い、夏季休暇中に事前学習と海外実習、事後学習を行う。各プログラムの事前・事後学習の日程、渡航日程や内容等の詳細は、募集説明会や異文化コミュニケーション学部掲示板に掲示する募集要項にて確認すること。

・海外実習の参加費はすべて自己負担となります。各プログラムの費用については募集要項を確認してください。
・この科目は履修中止不可科目です。
・定員に満たない場合は追加募集を行う可能性があります。追加募集においても最低催行可能人数に達しない場合には、プログラム実施を取りやめる場合があります。その場合、履修登録は行われません。
・治安情勢等やむを得ない事由によりプログラムを中止ないし変更せざるを得ない場合があります。その場合は、履修中止申請が可能であるが、旅行会社等の規定に応じて発生するキャンセル料は履修学生の負担となります。
