【授業の目標 / Course Objectives】

海外で日本語を学んでいる学習者、海外で日本語を教えている教師とつながることによって、海外の日本語教育現場、日本語教育プログラムへの理解を深める。また、学習者と1対1で学習支援を行うことを通して、外国語として日本語を教える際に必要な「構え」（学習者に応じた教え方、教材選択、学習者の情意的側面への対応等）を体験的に身に着ける。さらに、海外の学習者とオンラインで様々な協働作業に取り組んだり、オンラインでの授業を計画して実施することで、異文化理解力、異文化コミュニケーション力、コースデザイン、教材開発の実践力も身に着ける。また、学習者のプレゼンテーションを評価することを通して、現場で求められる学習者評価の在り方についても経験を通して学ぶ。

Students will deepen their understanding of Japanese language education settings and programs overseas by connecting with Japanese language learners studying abroad and teachers teaching Japanese overseas. Additionally, by providing one-on-one Japanese learning support to learners, students will gain practical experience in the "mindset" required for teaching Japanese as a foreign language, such as adapting teaching methods to the learner, selecting appropriate materials, and addressing learners' emotional and affective aspects. Furthermore, by engaging in various collaborative projects with overseas learners online, as well as planning and conducting online lessons, students will develop skills in intercultural understanding, intercultural communication, course design, and material development. Through evaluating learners' presentations, students will also gain hands-on experience and insights into effective learner evaluation methods required in the field.

【授業の内容 / Course Contents】

事前学習では、海外の日本語教育の状況や学習者の状況について学び、個々の学習者の学習目的やレベルに合った日本語教育支援を行う方法についてグループワークを通して考える。また、実際にオンラインで日本語学習支援や日本文化の紹介を行う際に必要な、コースデザイン、授業計画、教材選択や開発について学ぶ。その際は、ICTを用いた日本語教育の方法や著作権についても十分理解を深められるよう、アクティブラーニングを用いて活動を行う。事前学習後は、Zoomを利用したオンラインによる日本語教育実習、オンラインによる協働活動を行う。活動途中には振り返りの時間を設け、「オンラインによる日本語指導、学習者対応についての事前学習→実際の学生に指導→振り返り」を行うことで、実践的教授スキルを身につける。実習では、主に学習者の日本語会話力を向上させるための学習支援を行い、協働活動では日本文化や社会への理解、日本語への理解を深めるための活動を学習者と協働で実施する。学習支援、協働活動ともに参加者の積極的な関与が必要とされるため、参加者は責任をもって取り組まなければならない。事後学習では、個々の参加者が自らの活動を振り返ることで、21世紀に必要とされる日本語教師にはどのような能力やスキル、さらには態度が必要なのかについて考える。
事前活動や事後活動の日程などは、説明会および履修要項などでしっかり確認して参加すること。事前学習は６月から７月にかけて、事後学習は11月から12月にかけて実施する。また、実習のスケジュールは、各自、R-Guide、４月に実施する説明会で必要な事項を確認し、定められた期間に履修の申請手続きを行うこと。
海外日本語教育インターンシップを履修する前に、この科目を履修することが望ましい。

In the pre-learning phase, students will study the state of Japanese language education overseas and the circumstances of learners, and collaboratively discuss methods of providing Japanese language learning support tailored to the individual learner's objectives and proficiency level through group work. Additionally, they will learn about course design, lesson planning, material selection, and material development necessary for providing Japanese learning support and introducing Japanese culture online. During this process, active learning will be employed to deepen participants' understanding of ICT-based Japanese language education methods and copyright issues.
After the pre-learning phase, students will engage in online Japanese teaching practice and collaborative activities using Zoom. Reflection sessions will be held during these activities to facilitate a cycle of "pre-learning about online Japanese teaching and learner support → actual teaching of learners → reflection," enabling students to acquire practical teaching skills.
The teaching practice will primarily focus on providing learning support to improve learners’ Japanese conversational skills, while the collaborative activities will involve working together with learners to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture, society, and language. Both the learning support and collaborative activities require the active involvement of students, who must take responsibility and engage proactively.

In the post-learning phase, students will reflect on their activities to consider what abilities, skills, and attitudes are necessary for Japanese language teachers in the 21st century.

Students must carefully confirm the schedule for pre- and post-learning activities through orientation sessions and course syllabi. Pre-learning activities will take place between June and July, while post-learning activities will occur between November and December. Students are also required to check the schedule for the teaching practice via the R-Guide and the orientation session held in April, and complete the necessary enrollment procedures within the designated period.

It is recommended to take this course before enrolling in the Overseas Japanese Language Education Internship course.

様々な環境の中で（特にJFL、JHLとして）日本語を学んでいる学習者に対する理解を深め、積極的に海外の学習者とかかわろうとする態度を持っていること。また、他者とのコミュニケーション、他者との協働に積極的に、そして自律的に取り組むことができること。時間管理、自己管理がきちんとできること。

【その他 / Others】

この科目は、Zoomを通したオンラインのインターンシップを行う科目ですが、事前学習、事後学習については対面で行います。事前、事後学習への参加は必須ですので、4月のガイダンスで日程を確認してください。
また、履修にあたっては「日本語学概論A」を応募時点で修得しているか、もしくはZoom実習参加時までに修得予定であることが必要となります。
授業外でも教材分析、教材開発など週に2時間程度の準備が必要です。また、事前、事後学習や中間報告会では、ディスカッションやグループワークを取り入れた活動を行いますので、積極的な履修態度が求められます。

本科目は、インターンシップ、就業体験、その他の学外活動等による実践的な学びを中心に構成する授業である。
