Students will reach an intermediate level of practical proficiency in German in preparation for their travel to a German-speaking country in the fall semester of their second year on the Overseas Study Program.
The class meets twice per week, and the instructor is a native speaker of German. Students will become generally proficient in German by practicing conversation required for life in Germany, understanding simple sentences, self-expression and presentations.

会話練習，グループワークなどを中心に授業をすすめる。宿題・復習などの自主学習を積極的に行うこと。
小テスト，課題については随時授業内でフィードバックを行う。
２年次秋学期の「海外留学研修」に向け，中級レベルの総合的なドイツ語の実践的言語運用能力を養成する。

週２回の授業で，ネイティブ教員が担当。ドイツでの生活に不可欠な会話，簡単な文章の読解，自己表現などを練習し，総合的なドイツ語運用能力を身につける。
