【Course Objectives】

This course is designed for students to develop communicative and academic language skills through understanding topics related to Culture Studies.
1.Students will learn concepts in English.
2.Students will develop critical thinking skills.
3.Students will learn how to write a cohesive and persuasive paper.

【Course Contents】

First, this course promotes students’ critical and creative thinking through reading and discussing introductory textbooks for culture studies and sociology in English. Second, students will also be expected to participate actively in various discussions on social issues. Third, this course will help equip students with academic writing skills.
