In this class, animism, once considered to be the origin of religion but in recent years considered to be a fundamental mode of thought for humanity, is the focus of discussion and examination.
Crossing back and forth between religious anthropology, cultural anthropology, literature, psychology, philosophy and Buddhism, the following topics will be discussed.

本授業では、かつて宗教の起源であるとされたが、近年では人類の根源的な思考様式であるとされる「アニミズム」を取り上げて、考察と検討を進める。
In this class, animism, once considered to be the origin of religion but in recent years considered to be a fundamental mode of thought for humanity, is the focus of discussion and examination.
宗教人類学、文化人類学、文学、心理学、哲学、仏教などを縦横に往き来きしながら、以下のようなトピックを扱う。

・アイヌのイヨマンテに見られるアニミズム
・親鸞の往相還相論
・宮沢賢治の童話の中のアニミズム
・ユングとアニミズム
