Interpersonal communication competence and skills are essential for leading a social life based on smooth and constructive human relationships, and the field of research in this area is wide-ranging and interdisciplinary. In this course, from a primarily social scientific perspective, students will study key topics in communication studies, the mechanisms of intrapersonal communication, major concepts and theories related to the formation of interpersonal relationships, as well as their applications and practical aspects. The goal of this course is to enable students to understand various issues of interpersonal communication in contemporary Japanese society from multiple perspectives and to consider possible solutions to these issues.Classes will consist of lectures by the instructor, practical exercises, and discussions among students.
Students who who are planning to register for this course must attend the first class session and confirm their understanding of the course content and evaluation system before enrolling.

なし。毎回、紙媒体のハンドアウトを配布する。教員と受講生、受講生間の対話を重視した「目の前の人を大切にする」授業展開を実践するため、授業中のスマホ・パソコン類の使用を、私語を禁止する。そのことを納得した上で、履修すること。
授業の進め方、ルール（禁止事項）、各回への取り組み方については、初回授業にて詳細なシラバスをもとに説明する。なお、受講者数の状況や、教育効果を鑑み、授業内容、授業回の順番を調整することがある。その場合は、初回授業にて周知する。

対人コミュニケーション能力及び技能は、円滑な人間関係に基づく社会生活を営む上で極めて重要であり、その研究分野は多岐に渡る。本講義では、主に社会科学的な視点から、コミュニケーション学の重要事項、個人内コミュニケーションのメカニズム、対人関係の構築に関する主要概念や理論、応用分野、実践面について学び、現代日本社会における対人コミュニケーションの諸問題を多面的に認識し、その解決策を考えていくことを目標とする。授業は、担当教員による講義、演習課題、受講生同士のディスカッションにより構成される。
＊履修希望者は、第1回の授業に出席し、授業内容と評価システムを納得した上で履修すること。
Interpersonal communication competence and skills are essential for leading a social life based on smooth and constructive human relationships, and the field of research in this area is wide-ranging and interdisciplinary. In this course, from a primarily social scientific perspective, students will study key topics in communication studies, the mechanisms of intrapersonal communication, major concepts and theories related to the formation of interpersonal relationships, as well as their applications and practical aspects.
