(2) Explore the reality of performing arts and theater through pictorial and photographic materials.
(3) Deepen your understanding of the finer details of actors' performances, direction, stage sets, etc. through watching videos.
(4) Learn about the state of performing arts that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic that we are facing.
The world has been hit by various disasters up until now, but how have theaters continued to hold performances and present works amidst them? We will consider the relationship between disasters and theater by looking at kabuki, emerging theater from the Meiji era onwards, to contemporary theater, commercial theater and musicals. In particular, we will examine the performing arts that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020, which we are facing.

（4）私たちが直面した、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響を受けた舞台芸術のありようについて学ぶ。

これまで、世界はさまざまな災厄に見舞われてきたが、そのなかで劇場はどのように興行をおこない、作品を上演してきたのか。歌舞伎や明治以降の新興演劇から現代演劇まで、商業演劇やミュージカルなども取り上げ、災厄と演劇の関係について考える。とくに、私たちが直面している2020年以降のコロナ禍の影響下にある舞台芸術について検証する。
