The goal of this seminar is for students to determine themes for Senior Research and Thesis by connecting their awareness of various issues to academic themes, and classes are conducted to help students master the fundamental elements (research methods and the like) required to make that determination.
Students will select materials of particular interest to them from the fields of Japanese language education and sociolinguistics and further their understanding of them through oral presentations and discussion. Discussions will be held in an effort to help students choose themes for Senior Research and Thesis.

各自の問題意識を学術的なテーマと結びつけることで「卒業研究」のテーマを設定することを目標とし，そのために必要な基礎的な事項（研究方法など）を身につけるための授業を行う。

日本語教育と社会言語学の領域から，各自が特に関心を持つ資料を選定し，口頭発表とディスカッションを行い理解を深め，「卒業研究」で取り上げるテーマを設定することを目指す。
