【Course Objectives】

This seminar aims to help students develop fundamental research skills to compose a research plan based on their personal academic awareness of issues and proceed to write a graduation thesis.

【Course Contents】

Students are expected to investigate various social and cultural phenomena from the perspectives of sociology and multicultural societies to compose their graduation thesis. After acquiring fundamental knowledge for conducting research, students will engage in collective reading of foundational literature based on their interests, cultivating sociological thinking and analytical skills.. The supervisor will provide guidance on formulating research themes, conducting literature reviews, empirical studies, research methods, data analysis, and other aspects to complete the graduation thesis. Topics such as migration in East Asian, mobility studies, minority studies, class studies, multiculturalism will be discussed in this seminar.
