Students will determine themes for Senior Research and Thesis connecting their concern to academic themes, and classes are conducted to help students master fundamental elements (research methods and the like) required to define the subject.
This seminar welcomes students interested in conducting their graduation thesis research based on the Area Studies. Students will develop their ability for research methods and idea-gathering, preferably setting as target to re-examine the State, the Modern Era and / or its consequences.

各自の問題意識を学術的なテーマと結びつけることで、「卒業研究」のテーマを設定することを目標とし、そのために必要な基礎的な事項（研究方法など）を身につけるための授業を行う。

主として地域（文化）研究の見地から卒業研究を完成させたい学生向け。専ら国家あるいは近代を再検討するための手法と発想とを磨く。

卒業研究にスペイン語資料を利用する可能性のある学生には、スペイン語原典解読・解釈の訓練を積んでもらう。受講者の関心によりポルトガル語、フランス語、英語の文献を使用することがある。
