In this intercultural communication studies seminar(Advanced Seminar 1), students aim to set a theme for their graduation research while linking each student's own interests and awareness to academic research. Through seminar activities, students will acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary for this aim.
Students aim to deeply understand and critically examine their research topics by reading literature related to intercultural communication, especially organizational intercultural communication/discourse. Also, as students share their own intercultural experiences, they try to analyze and interpret our experiences in light of academic concepts and theories. In class, students will summarize and present the key points from the literature they are interested in. Class topics may change according to students'interests and needs.

| 通常授業での発表、ディスカッションに加え、「専門演習１」の履修後、「専門演習２」と「専門演習３」との間にある夏休み、もしくは「専門演習３」の学期はじめ、つまり、4年次の9月中旬にゼミ合宿を予定している。 |
リーディング課題を事前に読んでおくこと。また、各自の研究テーマに関する論文、書籍を探し、読んで要約し、最終レポートに組み込めるようにしておくこと。その際、要約するだけでなく、論文、書籍の内容を批判的に検討し、その特徴と限界について考え、言語しておくこと。

本ゼミでは、異文化コミュニケーションの中でも、とくに、組織コンテクストで生成される異文化コミュニケーションに焦点を当てているメンバーが集まるため、組織コンテクストにおける異文化コミュニケーションに関心がある学生が望ましい。
授業前に、オンライン上の授業運営プラットフォームへ授業資料をアップロードするので、事前に印刷するか、パソコン等で読めるようにし、授業で参照してください。なお、資料は、基本的にパワーポイントで共有します。適宜、追加資料を配布することがあります。
「異文化コミュニケーション概論」を履修していることが望ましい。

この異文化コミュニケーション学ゼミナール（専門演習１）は、受講生各自の関心，問題意識を学術的な研究と結びつけつつ、卒業研究のテーマを設定することを目標とする。受講生は、ゼミ活動を通して、そのために必要な基礎的な知識とスキルを身につけていく。

Through seminar activities, students will acquire the basic knowledge and skills necessary for this aim.
異文化コミュニケーション，とくに，組織における異文化コミュニケーションに関する文献を読み、関心のあるテーマを深く理解・考察することを目指す。また, 受講生はお互いに異文化体験を共有し，異文化コミュニケーションに関する事象を，体験と学術的な概念や理論との間を行き交いながら，分析、考察することを学んでいく。毎回，各自が担当する文献のポイントをまとめ，発表・討論する形で進める。授業項目は進度状況と各自の関心に応じて変更する可能性がある。
Students aim to deeply understand and critically examine their research topics by reading literature related to intercultural communication, especially organizational intercultural communication/discourse. Also, as students share their own intercultural experiences, they try to analyze and interpret our experiences in light of academic concepts and theories. In class, students will summarize and present the key points from the literature they are interested in. Class topics may change according to students'interests and needs.
