This course aims to help students learn various research methods so that they can find one that is appropriate for their senior thesis. In addition, they will complete the literature review section of their thesis.
This course will grant students the opportunity to learn qualitative research methods and to understand the ways of collecting and analyzing qualitative data. In addition, students will continue to perform a literature review for their research topic and will present their progress multiple times in classroom sessions. At the end of the semester, students will be required to submit a research proposal that includes the sections comprising their literature review and their research methods.

自らの卒業研究課題に適切な研究方法を見つけ、先行研究文献調査を完成させる。

専門演習２では研究法と分析法を中心に学んでいく。まず、質的研究法とは何か、データ分析をどのようにして行うかについて学ぶ。加えて、各自の研究テーマに関する文献調査を行い、クラス内でその発表を行うことで先行研究文献調査をすすめる。学期末には、卒業研究の前半部分にあたる先行研究文献調査と研究法までのセクションを「研究計画書」として提出する。
