この授業では、文献講読とディスカッションを通じて現代文化人類学の研究潮流を知り、学生個人の問題関心をその中に位置付ける。その上で卒業研究のテーマを設定し、実際に調査と分析を行い卒業論文を完成させる。

Jane HillのEveryday Language of White Racismを講読しながら自身の関心を深める。一章ごとに読み進める。その中でアカデミック・ライティングの方法を再度確認し、卒業論文を完成させる。
