【Course Objectives】

The course is designed to help students develop analytical and presentation skills by examining various legal issues and expressing their opinions on a wide range of topics. The course focuses on more than just improving English speaking skills. Its main objective is to train students on how to comprehend apparently complicated issues, extract crucial legal information, evaluate current points of interest from a legal perspective, and present their research. Overall, the course aims to enhance legal research and presentation skills.

【Course Contents】

During the initial weeks of the course, students will be taught the fundamentals of legal research and presentation organization. After the completion of the introductory phase, the students will be divided into subgroups, with the size of each subgroup depending on the total number of students enrolled in the course. Each subgroup will be required to give a presentation on a pre-determined topic, present additional research based on the topic assigned for that week, and also ask questions to the other groups presenting their findings during that week.
