The aim of this course is to help students acquire Anglo-American Law（public law）.
The goals of this course are to understand basics of Anglo-American Law（public law）.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Details will be announced later.
Students will learn following characteristics of Anglo-American Law.
(1)case law system, doctrine of precedent
(2)English Public Law (courts, sovereignty of parliament and rule of law, civil liberties and relationship between english law and european convention on human rights and EU law)
(3)American Public Law (federalism, courts, judicial review).

英米法の特徴（判例法主義、先例拘束性の法理、陪審制、救済方法など（イギリス法の歴史））、イギリス公法（司法、国会主権と法の支配、市民的自由、イギリス法とヨーロッパ法（欧州人権条約・EU法）など）、アメリカ法の歴史、アメリカ公法（連邦制、司法、違憲審査制など）の特徴の基本を扱います。
