This course aims to provide the perspective "through law" to see changes in international society by studying the basic concepts of public international law.
The purposes of this course are for students to understand the basic principle of international public law and to gain the skill of using public international laws as tools for designing international society's desirable structure.
What normative principles lie beneath international society? How do they affect our lives? Seeking answers to these questions provides students with the skills and imagination to understand our current global society.

国際法の基本的な概念を学習し，国際社会の構造変動を「法を通じて」認識する視座を獲得することを目標とする。
This course aims to provide the perspective "through law" to see changes in international society by studying the basic concepts of public international law.
国際法の基本原理を十分に理解し，さらに国際法を一つの技術として活用することを第一義的な目的とします。法は社会の構造を全体として理解する一つの道具でもあり，国際社会の全体構造を理解するうえで国際法の習得は必須のものとなります。
二つの世界大戦を契機に，「伝統的な国際法」から「新しい国際法」へと「発展」したともいわれるが，それが何を意味しているのか。どのような原理が存在しているのか。こうした我々が生きている社会を知るための根源的な問いに対して，考えを巡らせるために，必要な技術と想像力を養うことが本講義の最終的な目的となります。
国際法１では，授業計画にあるように国際法の基本構造について学び，国際法２では，国際法の具体的な実現を扱います。
