The objective of this class is to have the students develop the ability to describe and analyze interesting administrative phenomena.
Public Administration is an academic discipline which uses a multifaceted approach to administrative phenomena from the perspectives of the "voter" (institution theory), "taxpayer" (management theory), and "consumers" (policy theory). Public Administration 2 will cover part of management theory and policy theory from the three perspectives in the approach described above. In each part, an interesting puzzle concerning an administrative phenomena will be configured (week one) and then analyzed (week two).
Furthermore, please note that students are asked to take Public Administration 1 in combination with this course. In addition, students are asked to refer to past class evaluation surveys when taking this course (http://www2.rikkyo.ac.jp/web/haradahi/).

この授業では，受講生が興味深い行政現象を記述し分析する能力を身につけることを目標とする。
The objective of this class is to have the students develop the ability to describe and analyze interesting administrative phenomena.
行政学は，「有権者」としての視点（制度論），「納税者」としての視点（管理論），及び「消費者」としての視点（政策論）という3つの視点から行政現象に複眼的にアプローチする学問である。このうち行政学2では，上記アプローチに対応した3つのパートのうち，管理論の一部及び政策論を取り上げる。各パートでは，行政現象についての興味深いパズルを設定した後（1週目），これを分析する（2週目）。
なお，できる限り行政学1を修得しておいてほしい。また，受講にあたっては，過去の授業評価アンケート結果を参考にすること（http://www2.rikkyo.ac.jp/web/haradahi/）。
