This course aims to provide students bases to find the way to solve troubles involving trade measures taken by WTO Members in his/her international transactions and/or investments in the future.
Assuming that students have sufficient understanding on issues discussed in International Economic Law I, this course will present discussion on details of WTO Agreements annexed to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing World Trade Organization. Discussions will focus on trade remedies (antidumping, countervailing and safeguard measures), which has the largest share of the WTO disputes, and Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade, Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, General Agreement on Trade in Services, and Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights. Discussion will go beyond WTO agreements, such as International Investment Agreements and Investor-State disputes, and Free Trade Agreements (Economic Partnership Agreements).

本講を受講するための先修要件はないが、国際経済法１を履修していることが望ましい。
WTO協定の諸協定の構造とルールを理解することにより、将来直面するであろうWTO加盟国の貿易措置に起因する国際取引や投資の問題を解決する基礎能力を与えることを目標とする。
This course aims to provide students bases to find the way to solve troubles involving trade measures taken by WTO Members in his/her international transactions and/or investments in the future.
本講義は、国際経済法1の内容を理解しているとの前提に立ち、WTOを設立するマラケッシュ協定に付属する諸協定の詳細を論ずる。特に、WTO紛争解決の相当部分を占める貿易救済措置（アンチダンピング、相殺関税、セーフガード）を中心として、貿易の技術的障害の関する協定、衛生植物検疫措置の適用に関する協定、サービス協定、知的所有権の貿易関連の側面に関する協定を検討する。さらに、WTO協定を超えて、投資協定及び投資家・国家間紛争、自由貿易協定・経済連携協定などを検討する。
