The goal of this class is to help students gain a perspective on society as a whole, based on an understanding of the structure of government and the work of public servants, and to stimulate their motivation and action toward their studies and various activities at the university.
While discussing issues and topics related to the public servant system and public servants, the course informs students of the attractiveness of public servants as a place of employment and provides hints that lead to the study and actions necessary to understand social issues and work toward solutions.

学生へのメッセージ：ステレオ的な公務員像を打破して、21世紀に相応しい実践的な公務員像の再構成を試みると共に、法学部で学修することの意義を理解し、就職後にも活きるキャリア意識の形成にも資する唯一無二の講義を目指します。
本授業の目標は、受講生が行政の仕組みや公務員の仕事への理解を軸としながら社会全体を見渡す視座を獲得し、大学での学修や様々な活動に向けた意欲と行動を喚起することである。

公務員制度や公務員に関連した論点や話題を取り上げながら、就職先としての公務員の魅力を伝えるとともに、社会課題を読み解き、解決に向かうために必要となる学修や行動につながるヒントを伝える。
