The objectives of this class is to learn how corporate law has been formed over the course of history, and to acquire various perspectives for considering the future of corporate law, taking into account comparative law.
1) We will analyze Shigeru Nakajima's "A World History of Companies and Shareholders" (2025) and papers on comparative law in the field of corporate law.
2) We will cover the latest economic news, case law, and legal reform trends related to corporate law as much as possible.
3) We will engage in a group discussion.
