This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, and there has been much debate over historical perceptions surrounding World War II. Therefore, the purpose of this seminar is to examine the background, factors, and characteristics of historical perceptions in East Asia and elsewhere from various perspectives.
At Spring Semester each student in this seminar shall read the basic texts concerning historical perception issue in turns and at Autumn Semester research the selected specific topics to present and engage in discussion.

本年は戦後80年であるが、第二次世界大戦の歴史認識をめぐる議論が世界的に盛んになされている。そこで、本演習では、東アジアをはじめとする歴史認識問題の背景・要因・特質について、多角的に考察することを目的とする。それにより、皆さんが自身の歴史認識を身に着けると同時に、外国の方と議論し得る基盤を習得して欲しい。

春学期は、歴史認識問題に関する基本的文献を輪読し、各回報告を踏まえて議論を行う。秋学期は、各人が歴史認識問題に関する具体的なテーマを選定し、考察の結果を発表し、相互に議論を行う。
