【Course Objectives】

It is important to acknowledge the political impact of Climate Change on our societies. This seminar aims to explore the political science aspects of Climate Change by examining the latest literature on the potential effects it may have on politics and societies. The theoretical debates at the global level, as well as cases from the regional level, including the Global South, will be studied in order to provide students with a deeper understanding of specific issues.

【Course Contents】

In this seminar, we will read the assigned books in rotation and discuss each topic. The presenters will provide a summary of the texts, and the rest of the class are required to submit a comment paper in advance. During each session, the class will engage in a discussion based on the issues raised by the discussants. If it is necessary, students will be divided into several smaller groups to facilitate further discussion.
