The U.S. financial and capital markets are vast and constantly innovating, forming a crucial pillar of the global economy. The U.S. securities regulations governing them are equally wide-ranging and complex. In this seminar, by using movies and novels as materials, the goal is to gain insight into the overall picture of U.S. securities regulation and to enjoy encounters with diverse economic, social, and cultural perspectives.
In this seminar, participants are expected to read and present on the specified materials that are allocated to each of them, followed by the discussions among the participants.

米国の金融・資本市場は規模が大きく、イノベーションが次々に起こり、世界経済の重要な柱である。このような市場を規律する米国証券規制も又、広範囲で複雑なものとなっている。本演習では、映画や小説などを題材として、米国証券規制の全体像について知見を得るとともに、多様な経済・社会・文化との邂逅を楽しむことを目標とする。
