The course constitutes an introduction to the public and private aviation law. The objective of the course is to examine the role of law and politics in the regulation of air transport, as well as to provide an overview of selected legal regimes governing various aspects of aviation activities. By the end of this course students should be able to synthesize and use information from all the topics discussed in the classes.
The course covers basic remarks on fundamental rules governing the use of airspace, aviation safety, aviation security, air carrier liability, aircraft financing and passengers' rights. The course addresses also emerging issues in the area of aviation law, such as artificial intelligence or drones.

It can be the same topic as the presentation. 40% of the grade in this course will be based on student performance on the final test. |
