This seminar aims to deepen the participants' understanding of Japanese public administration and provide an opportunity to develop well-thought image of a public service. In addition, the course aims to enhance participants' practical skills in identifying and responding to social and economic issues.
In this seminar, theories and systems of Japanese public administration, as well as the systems and practices of central government officials, will be explored. Participants are expected to prepare and present on the specified materials that are allocated to each of them, followed by the discussions among the participants. Guest lecturers may be invited to the seminar so that the participants can gain insights through engagement with them.

本演習では、日本の行政の仕組みや国家公務員の業務を理解し、公務員として働くことのイメージを持つことを目標とする。また、社会や経済の問題に対する課題発見・対応能力を高めることを目指す。

本演習では、日本の行政の理論や制度、国家公務員の制度や実務について、関連する資料や文献を基に、学生による報告及びそれを踏まえた議論を行う。ゲスト講師の招聘も検討しており、ゲスト講師との対話によって公務に関する理解を更に深める。
