The objective of this exercise is to review the fundamental principles of the entire Civil Code, primarily focusing on statutory provisions, while also introducing actual cases and courtroom practices encountered by the instructor in their role as an attorney.
The course content will involve the instructor outlining actual cases and courtroom practices encountered in their role as an attorney, while primarily conducting question-and-answer sessions and collaborative discussions focused on fundamental Civil Code provisions. Students are expected to prepare for the exercises by reviewing the pre-assigned materials (a handout listing questions and topics scheduled for the class) and their own basic textbooks. This exercise is particularly beneficial for aspiring legal professionals (such as students considering law school) who wish to reaffirm and review their understanding of Civil Law.
Additionally, a guest speaker (such as an attorney) is scheduled to give a lecture on legal practice during the middle of the exercise period.

本演習の目標は、講師が弁護士として接している実際の事例や裁判実務等に触れながら、主に条文を中心として、民法全体の基本事項を確認することにある。
The objective of this exercise is to review the fundamental principles of the entire Civil Code, primarily focusing on statutory provisions, while also introducing actual cases and courtroom practices encountered by the instructor in their role as an attorney.
授業内容は、講師が弁護士として接している実際の事例や裁判実務等を概説しつつ、主に条文を中心とした民法の基本事項に関する質疑応答や協議検討を行うものとする。受講生は、事前課題（授業内で予定されている質問事項等を列挙したレジュメ）や各自が使用している基本書等を参考にして予習し、演習に参加する。特に、民法を改めて確認、復習したい法曹志望者（ロースクール進学等を検討している学生）にとって有益な演習としたい。
また、演習の中盤で、ゲストスピーカー（弁護士等）による法律業務等に関する講演も予定している。
