This seminar approaches Chinese politics from the basics.The seminar welcomes international students, encouraging participants with diverse backgrounds to deepen their understanding of the regions they live in through literature study and discussions. Additionally, through group work, participants will aim to enhance their skills in literature research and presentations.
The study and research of Chinese politics require a step-by-step process. In the initial stage, it is crucial to gain a fundamental understanding of Chinese society and politics. This seminar aims to achieve this goal by using two well-regarded introductory books, through literature study and group work.
Please note that the number of literature reports and the number of presenters each time will be determined by the number of participants and their interests, so please consider the class plan as a guide.Chinese may also be used when explaining Chinese materials, news, and background information.

この演習では、基礎から中国政治を考える。本演習は留学生の受講を歓迎しており、異なるバックグラウンドを持つ履修者同士が文献学習やディスカッションを通じて、自分たちの住む地域についての理解を深めていく。また、グループワークを通じて文献調査やプレゼンテーションのスキルを磨くことも目指す。

中国政治の学習と研究には、段階的なプロセスが必要である。最初の段階では、やはり中国社会や中国政治について基本的な理解を持つことが重要である。本演習では、好評を得ている2冊の入門書を選び、文献学習やグループワークを通じてこの目的を達成することを目指す。
なお、履修者の人数や関心によって文献報告の回数、毎回の報告者の数を決めるので、授業計画はその目安と考えてください。中国の資料・ニュース・背景事情を説明する時には中国語を使う場合がある。
